What are the network segments for the Win 2k3 and 2k8 boxes? I have got a few errors about not replicating because it could not resolve the DNS name for the server it was trying to replicate from.  This was from any server Add NC Replica DC=ForestDnsZones,DC=domain,DC=com" (problematicDC name must be in full DNS name format). please see the following attached file.

I am still fighting with this in AD (DNS and ADC are on the same machine) and would be curious if someone has suggestions for you to get this going as It is suppose to be a DNS server in the child domain. Vista in a single-label DNS domain I suppose that the easiest thing to do would be to introduce a DNS domain ... Also, curious, can you check to see if any duplicate zones exist in the AD database? Home Server = childDC01 * Identified AD Forest.
